The Executive Chairman of Kano Municipal City, Faizu Alfindiki, confirmed this to Scoop Reporter in an interview on Sunday.
While disclosing where they hail from, He said: “They are all indigenes of Kano Municipal Local Government area, from the 13 wards we have, and each ward has 16 representatives.
That gives a total of 208. They are to start work immediately at Internal Revenue. We will look further to add more to the ones we currently recruited.”
He added that “Creating jobs for youths is part of the promise we made before going to the polls and we’ll do our utmost best to fulfil that promise.”
He urged the youths to give him the opportunity to address their demands and implement other ongoing robust projects on youth empowerment.’
“All we need from you is your cooperation, understanding, and support. Our doors are always open for you.” According to Alfindiki.
